Terms of Service

1. The service
Rapid Estimate is a software tool that helps contractors and service pros create, share and track job estimates. We provide the software; you are solely responsible for the prices, scopes of work, tax amounts and commitments you send to your customers.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
3. Free trial and billing
New accounts get a 7-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is automatically charged $19.99 and then every 30 days until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars. Charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms.
6. Estimates and taxes
Suggested prices, markups and sales tax amounts shown in the app are calculations based on the data you enter. They are not tax, legal or financial advice. Verify your local sales tax obligations before sending an estimate or invoicing a customer.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, to send spam, to infringe others' rights, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
